King Baseball Field

The current baseball field location has been home to the Tornado baseball team since 2002 with upgrades coming prior to the 2020 season.

Prior to the 2020 season, bleachers that seat 140 spectators were added behind home plate along with stairs and a patio atop the hill. The backstop was also replaced with a 30-inch tall brick wall and netting was added behind home plate.

On February 23, 2002, King University played the first game at the new Baseball Complex. The complex sits on seven acres of land west of the main campus. The field has dimensions of 330 feet down each line, 375 feet in the power alleys and 400 feet to straightaway center. Built to major league specifications, the complex includes sophisticated drainage and irrigation systems, 8-foot fencing with a 16-foot batters eye in straightaway center, two 65-foot dugouts, large foul territory, a warning track around the field and mirage Bermuda grass.
