McNichols had a huge Sunday for the King women's wrestling team as they went 2-1 against three of the nation's top teams at the Tornado Duals. On the day, McNichols went 3-0 with three wins over individuals ranked in the top three. McNichols, ranked fourth at 101 pounds started her day with a 3-2 win over top-ranked Angelina Gomez of Emmanuel College. She followed that with a 4-1 decision over third-ranked Jennesis Martinez of Colorado Mesa University. The junior from Fort Worth, Texas capped her day with a 4-1 decision over top-ranked Pauline Granados of McKendree University.
