A junior from Arlington, Texas, went 4-0 at the season-opening Eagle Madness, becoming co-champion with two wins via pin and a tech fall, which came in her opening match against Skye Shelmerdine of Minot State. After taking her next two matches via pin, she won a 12-6 decision over Emmanuel's Karissa Turnwall. She also competed at the NWCA All-Star Classic, taking on North Central College's Sydney Petzinger in an exhibition match, which she won via pin in 3:50.
