Asheville, N.C. – The King University Outdoor Track and Field team traveled to Asheville for the Bulldog Invitational with many top athletes in the Region. The Tornado were able to get multiple athletes in the top eight spots, making their presence felt by the crowd.

Women's Track and Field Team:

Rylee Durrence had the strongest showing for the Women's team with a ninth-place finish in the Discus with a mark of 33.76 meters (110' 9" ft).

Keeyanah Foote in the Triple Jump finished with her furthest mark being 10.25 meters (33' 7.5" ft).

Kailee-Ann Conner crossed the finish line in the 5000-meter run with a time of 20:47.74.

Men's Track and Field Team:

Zach Stroin led the Men's Team with the highest place in the meet for King in the Javelin with a second-place finish. He was able to throw a mark of 50.83 meters (166' 9" ft).

Braydon Muhly was to place fourth in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:41.80, which is his season-best time.
Â
Braylon Hammond ran the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.23 seconds, able to place eighth in the meet.
Â
Noah Gilliam had a heap of a throw in the Hammer Throw with a mark of 43.62 meters (143' 1" ft), which was good for eighth place.
