BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's volleyball team was swept by Conference Carolinas leading Trojans of the University of Mount Olive.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Justin Sawyer got the match started with a kill with an assist from JP Ribeiro.
- Mount Olive scored four in a row to take an early 5-2 lead. The Tornado would fight back to tie the first set at 11. The Trojans responded with three in a row and would lead the rest of the set, winning it 25-22.
- Dalton Claiborne had six kills and Sawyer tallied five in set one.
- Mount Olive dominated the second set, winning 25-12. Claiborne had three kills and an ace in the set.
- Claiborne had a kill in the third set, helping King to a slight 4-3 lead. However, a Mount Olive 5-1 scoring run allowed them to retake the lead.
- A kill from Colton Bueter tied the game at nine, but the Tornado would trail the rest of the set. Mount Olive had as much as a nine-point lead at 20-11 but King attempted a comeback with a 9-2 run late in the set. The Trojans sealed the sweep with back-to-back aces.
