GREENVILLE, Tenn. – The King University men's volleyball team was swept by the Tusculum Pioneers in a non-conference match on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tusculum scored the first two points of the match before Colton Bueter got King on the board with a kill with an assist from JP Ribeiro. King tied the set with another kill from Bueter at 7. Ribeiro and Grayson Stoudt got a block to tie the score at 8. Tusculum responded with three straight kills and would maintain the lead for the remainder of the opening set.
- Tusculum opened the second set with a 7-1 run and would carry that momentum to a 25-11 set victory. Alessandro Fermani and Dalton Claiborne each had two kills.
- The Pioneers continued their momentum with another 7-1 run to open the third set before taking the match with a third set victory.
KING HIGHLIGHTS
- Colton Bueter had six kills and 17 receptions. JP Ribeiro had 12 assists, five digs, and three block assists.
- Kavi Saldivar had a match-high 19 receptions and Grayson Stoudt had a solo block and two block assists.

The men's volleyball team will return to Bristol for their final home match of the season on Saturday, March 29. The team will honor their seniors prior to the match at 2:00 p.m.
