BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's soccer team dropped their home conference match Saturday afternoon, 5-1 to Mount Olive despite a 67th minute goal from
Ella Froehlich.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After Froehlich took two shots in the first three minutes, it was the Trojans who scored first, taking a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute,
- Shots by Mackenzie Winters and Izzy Brantley both went wide, with Olivia Seston making a save off a Mount Olive corner kick in the 14th minute.
- The Trojans scored their second goal in the 22nd minute, before adding a third a few minutes later to take a 3-0 lead.
- Mount Olive added another goal in the 37th minute, taking a 4-0 lead into the halftime break.
- In the 48th minute, Froehlich took another shot that was saved, but resulted in a Tornado corner kick.
- After the Trojans scored their fifth goal in the 61st minute, Froehlich got King on the board in the 67th minute, taking a pass from Winters and finding the back of the net, bringing King to within 5-1.
- Neither team got much offense in the final 20 minutes, with both teams earning a corner kick prior to the final horn sounding.
