Spartanburg, S.C. – November 1, 2025 – The King University women's soccer team wrapped up its regular season on Saturday afternoon with a determined performance on the road, but Converse pulled away in the second half as the Tornado fell 5-0 at Hayden Abney Fulp Field at Weisiger Stadium.
First Half
The Tornado opened the match with energy and organization, creating seven shots in the first 45 minutes. Forward
Ella Froehlich tested the Valkyries' defense with two shots on target, while goalkeeper
Olivia Seston came up with three key saves to keep the contest tight. Converse managed to break through late in the half, taking a 1-0 advantage into the break.
Second Half
After halftime, Converse found its attacking rhythm, netting four goals to extend its lead. Despite the scoreline, King continued to push forward, generating six more shots and forcing the Valkyries' goalkeepers into five saves.
