Levi Medford earned a bases loaded walk in the 11th inning of game one as the King University baseball team split their Conference Carolinas doubleheader against Belmont Abbey College. King took the first game 3-2, before the Crusaders won the second game.

- Borchardt picked up his RBI in the first inning of game one, singling through the left side to score Roper.
- After the Crusaders tied the game in the third, the Tornado scored in the fifth, as Kale Richardson was hit by a pitch to start the inning.
- He advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt before scoring on a single up the middle by Conner Hyatt, putting King in front 2-1.
- Belmont Abbey tied the game in the sixth, with neither team getting another run across until the 11th.
- Nick Valentin drew a one-out walk, then stole second before Garret Huffman was intentionally walked.
- After Misael Garcia drew a walk to lead the bases, Medford worked the count to 3-2 before taking ball four, winning the game via a walk-off walk for the Tornado.

GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS
- Belmont Abbey struck early and often, scoring four runs in the first and one in the second to take an early 5-0 lead.
- King scored in the bottom of the second, as Borchardt led off with a single, advancing to third when Starrs doubled.
- After Andrew Bryant drew a walk, Huffman hit into a double play, which allowed Borchardt to score, cutting the lead to 5-1.
- The Crusaders added a run in the third, with King using some baserunning plays to pick up a run in the fourth, maintaining a 6-2 Crusaders lead.
- In the fifth, Belmont Abbey added another run, taking a 7-2 lead.
- King scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth, with Chad Evans hitting an RBI single and Starrs picking up a pair of RBI on a single up the middle, but King couldn't pull any closer.
- The game never resumed, as due to darkness it was called after six innings, with Belmont Abbey winning 7-5.

FOR THE FOES
