BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's volleyball team swept Conference Carolinas rival Lees-McRae College in three sets Wednesday night in their final home game of the regular season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
- King took a 12-6 lead, later reaching 18-12.
- The Bobcats then scored four of the next five points, pulling to within 19-17.
- After the Tornado made it to set point, up 24-19, Lees-McRae scored three straight, cutting the lead to 24-22.
- A Warren Davis kill was the final point, with King winning the set 25-22.
Second Set
- There were four lead changes and four tied scores early until a 6-0 King scoring run extended the lead to 17-11.
- King then scored three of the next four points, taking a 20-12 lead.
- After Lees-McRae pulled to within 20-14, King closed the set by scoring four of the final five points, taking a 25-15 set win and going ahead 2-0 in the match.
Third Set
- King controlled the set early, taking a quick 5-1 lead.
- The Bobcats tied the score at 11 after a 4-0 scoring run.
- The Tornado had a 16-14 lead, before scoring four points in a row to take a 20-14 advantage.
- King went on to score the final three points of the set, winning 25-17 and sweeping the match 3-0.

- Sebastian Heer had seven kills, two solo blocks and two assisted blocks.
- Austin Beaird had five digs, tying him for the team lead with Ben Ratliff-Becher.

- King will close the regular season on the road, starting April 3 at North Greenville University.
- The Bobcats will host Thomas More on Saturday.
