BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's soccer team, playing Converse for the second time in three days, dropped their home contest, 2-0 to the Valkyries on Thursday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Valkyries started with two corner kicks within the first minute, before getting a pair of shots on goal within the first 15, both of which were stopped by King goalkeeper Olivia Seston.
- A Tornado foul in the box led to a Converse penalty kick, which they converted to take a 1-0 lead.
- The first shot on goal for King came in the 49th minute, courtesy of Mackenzie Winters, but it was turned away by the Converse goalkeeper.
- The Valkyries added to their lead in the 52nd minute, taking a 2-0 lead.
- Ella Froehlich got a shot on goal in the 54th minute, but it was also stopped by the goalkeeper.
- King got a pair of shots on goal in the final five minutes, with Rachel Radow and Victoria Thauer taking shots that were saved.
