Ella Froehlich scored her sixth goal of the season Wednesday night, but the King University women's soccer team came up on the losing end of a 6-1 score against Conference Carolinas Northwest division foe Belmont Abbey College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Belmont Abbey scored their first two goals in rapid succession, scoring their first in the 17th minute before adding a second goal just over a minute later to take a 2-0 lead.
- Froehlich responded in the 25th minute, taking a long pass from Taylor Stubbs and beating the keeper to cut the lead to 2-1.
- The Tornado withstood a handful of Belmont Abbey scoring chances in the 34th minute, as Belmont Abbey got a pair of shots off, but one was blocked and one missed high.
- After winning a corner kick in the 42nd minute, the Crusaders scored their third goal of the match, taking a 3-1 lead into halftime.
- Belmont Abbey scored twice early in the second half, going ahead 5-1.
- The Crusaders added a sixth goal in the 70th minute, taking a 6-1 lead that would stand as the final score, as King recorded just two shots on goal in the second half.
