BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's soccer team dropped their home finale to Belmont Abbey Saturday afternoon, dropping a 2-0 decision at Parks Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kristal Garcia recorded a save just four minutes into the match to keep things scoreless.
- After another save by Garcia in the 10th minute, Veronica Roach took a shot that the Crusaders goalkeeper stopped.
- The Tornado took another shot in the 28th minute when Taylor Stubbs took a shot that was again stopped by the BAC goalie.
- Garcia finished the half with three saves, as neither team was able to score in the first 45 minutes.
- Belmont Abbey would strike in the 59th minute, as Anna Richard scored a goal to give the Crusaders a 1-0 lead.
- Roach took a pair of shots in the 67th minute, but was unable to find the back of the net.
- The Crusaders added a second goal in the 80th minute off a King turnover.
- The Tornado offense was unable to get a shot in the final 10 minutes, as the Crusaders defense held on for the win.
