BANNER ELK, N.C. – The King University women's soccer team fell to Lees-McRae 2-0 Wednesday night.
Kristal Garcia made a pair of saves for the Tornado, with
Desi White and
Ariana Gallegos recording shots on goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It didn't take long for the Bobcats to score, as Prescilla Mawi scored in the 6th minute to hand them a 1-0 lead.
- King got their lone shot of the half in the 16th minute, but the ball sailed wide of the net.
- Coming out of the halftime break, the Bobcats got a pair of shots on goal, but both were turned away by Garcia.
- The Tornado got their first shot on goal in the 55th minute, but were unable to find the back of the net.
- In the 61st minute, the Bobcats extended their lead to 2-0 on a goal from Brooke Allen.
- Gallegos took her second shot of the match in the 72nd minute, and forced the Bobcats keeper to make a save.
- Samantha King took a shot in the 79th minute, but was unable to put the ball on goal.
- The Tornado were unable to take any shots in the final 10 minutes, with the Bobcats getting a shot on goal that was stopped by Garcia.
