WILSON, N.C. – The Tornado were unable to get their offense going Sunday, as they dropped their Conference Carolinas matchup with Barton 6-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half was all Barton, as the Bulldogs recorded 17 shots, with nine on goal. Tornado goalkeeper Erin Foster had seven saves in the half.
- The Tornado recorded their first shot of the half in the ninth minute when Anya Gross lined up a shot that went wide left of the net.
- The Bulldogs scored twice in the first half, starting in the 15th minute then Kassie Krul converted a penalty kick, while Caitlynn Bragg recorded a goal in the 36th minute to give Barton a 2-0 lead.
- In the 34th minute, King recorded another shot, as Hannah Hix took a shot that went right of the net.
- The Bulldogs extended their lead in the 53rd minute when Lexis Goldberg scored her third of the season. 15 minutes later, they scored their fourth of the game.
- Barton would go on to score two more goals in the half to take the 6-0 win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Foster made a season-high 14 saves, which ties her career high that she set on Oct. 30, 2019 against Lees-McRae.
FOR THE FOES
- Krul took eight of the 36 shots for the Bulldogs, with two shots on goal and her one goal.
- Rachel Cox got the start in net and did not need to make any saves. She was the only Bulldog to play all 90 minutes.
