Box Score TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The King University women's soccer team struggled to find the back of the net against North Greenville University on Saturday afternoon. The Tornado dropped a close contest to the Crusaders 1-0 in the Conference Carolinas matchup.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- King got off to a slow start as North Greenville came out firing and scored in the 15th minute of play.
- King struggled to get shots off on offense as they had one shot in the first 42 minutes of play.
- However, the Tornado had a couple good chances as the half came to a close, but could not find the back of the net.
- The first ten minutes of play in the second half were mostly dominated by the Crusaders, however, in the 59th minute King had a flurry of shots, but yet again could not score.
- In the 72nd minute, a shot by King's Miranda Smith was so close to beating the goalkeeper, however, it drilled the crossbar.
- Smith hit another screamer in the 80th minute that went just wide left from about 25 yards out.
- Unfortunately, that was the last good opportunity King would have for the remainder of the game, ending the match in a 1-0 victory for the Crusaders.
- Olivia Drake recorded five saves for the Tornado in goal.
- Smith had five shots, three of which were on frame.
FOR THE FOES
- Asheton Robinson scored the lone goal of the game.
- Brianna Rowe recorded five saves for the Crusaders.
- North Greenville had three corner kicks in the contest.
