Box Score BRISTOL, Tenn. – Playing their first game at Parks Field in nearly a month, the King University women's soccer team fought back, and held on late for a draw with the University of Mount Olive. Hulda Sigurdardottir netted both goals for the Tornado in the Conference Carolinas tilt that ended in a 2-2 draw.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Trojans jumped ahead early, scoring in the fourth minute to take a 1-0 advantage.
- Play went back-and-forth in the half with both teams having chances to score. King ripped 10 shots, putting five on goal while Mount Olive took eight shots, placing two on frame.
- Sigurdardottir finally broke through for King in the 58th minute when she took a pass from Keely Easterling and placed a shot to the lower right that went off the goalkeepers hands and in.
- Three minutes later, Sigurdardottir ripped a shot that hit the crossbar and Kara Garrett tried to put the rebound in, but it was stopped by the Trojan keeper.
- The Tornado continued to pressure, and it paid off again in the 74th minute when Sigurdardottir laced a shot from 30 yards out that found back of the net to give King the lead.
- However, the Trojans answered in the 82nd minute when Nichole Poppe ripped a shot off the right post and in to even the score.
- Both teams had chances to score the go-ahead goal in regulation, but none of the attempts ended up on frame.
- Mount Olive nearly ended the game in the first overtime as Poppe ripped a shot that hit the crossbar in the 97th minute.
- Poppe again hit the crossbar with 20 seconds remaining as the game ended in a draw.
- King outshot the Trojans 24-19 in the contest, placing 10 on goal while Mount Olive had six shots on target.
- Olivia Drake made four saves for the Tornado.
FOR THE FOES
- Poppe netted both goals for the Trojans, running her season total to six.
- Stephanie McCoy made eight saves in goal for Mount Olive.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The two goals for Sigurdardottir marks her first career game with more than one goal. She now has six goals on the season and ranks fifth in Conference Carolinas.
- With four saves, Drake has posted at least four stops in each of the last three contests.
