BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the second time this season, King University's Hannah Witt has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week during week number five of the 2013 season. On Friday, Witt posted a school record time en route to winning the Mountaineer Open.

Her 5k time of 18:05 set a new King school record, breaking the previous mark by 12 seconds. In three meets this year, the senior has posted two of the top three times in King history.
