Stiles coming on Lady Tornado wrestling staff

BRISTOL, Tenn. - Jackie Stiles will enter her first season as assistant coach for the King College Women's Wrestling program.

Stiles will join head coach Jason Moorman for the 2010-11 season, the second varsity season for the sport at King.

She wrestled at the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) and graduated with degrees in public health and exercise sport science. Stiles was the team captain and four-time All-American with a national championship. She also was a bronze medal winner at the Junior Pan American and true runner-up at the 2006 Body Bar.

During her career at Cumberlands, she obtained the No. 1 ranking in the 51kg class in 2008 and was in the Top-10 on www.themat.com rankings in three different weight classes.

In her prep career at W.B. Ray High in Corpus Christi, Texas, she was a district and regional champion with state qualifiying trips her final two seasons.

Stiles has also medaled in various tournaments such as the U.S. Open and Collegiate, McMaster, WCWA, Sunkist World Team Trials and others.
