‘Black Out Barton’ with Women’s Volleyball on Tuesday
BRISTOL, Tenn. – Come be a part of the crowd that will attempt to "Black Out" the Bulldogs when the King Lady Tornado volleyball team hosts Barton College at Tuesday evening's volleyball match. Free food and glow-in-the-dark accessories will be available for fans in attendance, while supplies last.
The Lady Tornado (12-10, 6-3) host the Barton Bulldogs (4-13, 2-7) inside the Student Center Complex gym for a Conference Carolinas match that can help give back a share of first place in the West Division. King is current second in the West, one game behind Erskine (8-8, 7-2). The music starts blaring and the glow sticks start shining early, but first service is set for 7 p.m.
Free food, provided by Chik-fil-A, will be made available for those in attendance. Free glow bracelets and necklaces will be given to fans to help shed light during the 'black out', while supplies last. A call to all fans is being made to wear as much black as possible to help support the Lady Tornado in their quest to victory.
King's match with Barton will be the last home game until Oct. 29, so make sure you find your way to the Student Center for Tuesday's 7 p.m. match against the Bulldogs. The Lady Tornado will take to the road to play five straight road contests, beginning with Mount Olive on Oct. 13. Last year, King upset Mount Olive on their home floor coming from two games down to defeat the Trojans, 3-2, to advance to the second round of the Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Tournament.
