King ranks among best in final NCAA Women's Volleyball report

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The King College women's volleyball team ended the 2010 season with seven Top-50 stat rankings, four team and three individual rankings, the organization announced.

Senior Kaitlyn Musick (Weber City, Va.) finished the season at No. 14 in hitting percentage. She posted a .381 percentage in 2010.

Shannon Earwood (Carson City, Nev.) climbed a spot to No. 39 in assists per set with her 10.21 mark. She was No. 40 in the last report.

Morgan Machen (Kingsport, Tenn.) stayed in the Top-50 with 3.62 kills per set average, good enough to rank the senior No. 44.

King finished at No. 19 in team hitting percentage ranking. The team's .251 percentage was where the Lady Tornado finished 2010. The Lady Tornado was ranked No. 36 in aces per set with 2.01 and No. 38 in winning percentage at .744. King also added the No. 50 ranking in kills per set with 13.02.

The Lady Tornado posted a 32-11 record in the team's first season as a NCAA Division II squad and the team reached the NCCAA Division I National Tournament.
