Track and Field Announces Schedule Changes

BRISTOL, Tenn. – King College Track and Field has announced a series of changes to the teams' indoor schedule. The men's and women's teams will next compete on Jan. 27-28 at the Liberty Open in Lynchburg, Virginia.

The Appalachian Open, originally set for Jan. 21 has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

King will not be competing in the Virginia Tech Elite Meet (Feb. 3-4) and the VT Challenge on Feb. 17-18. Instead, the Navy and Scarlet will compete in the Gene Anderson Invite, held in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, that weekend.

The Tornado have made new plans to participate in the Fast Track College Invitational on Feb. 10-11 in lieu of their regularly scheduled meet at the Tiger Paw Invitational.

King will compete in the Liberty Open (Lynchburg, Va.) in their next schedule meet on Jan. 27 and 28, riding on a variety of successes from their last action at the Appalachian Indoor Invitational (Boone, N.C.).
