King drops narrow 5-4 dual at NGU

TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The King University women's tennis team fell to North Greenville University on Friday afternoon. The Tornado nearly came back in singles play, but fell 5-4 to the Crusaders.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Crusaders took the top two doubles matches, to take a 2-1 lead going into singles play.
  • King won the No. 3 doubles match by default.
  • In singles play, Jennifer Harr earned a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Hana Hester at No. 4 singles and Morgan Buchanan followed with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Merit Morgan at the fifth flight.
  • The Tornado took a win by default at No. 6 singles, but that was the final win King got as the Crusaders took the dual 5-4.
