King falls to #50 Young Harris

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's tennis team faced one of the best teams they will face all season on Sunday when they hosted 50th-ranked Young Harris College. The Mountain Lions took the 7-0 nonconference victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The No. 1 doubles team of Katya Cerny and Marianne Hull for the Tornado dropped a tight match, 8-6 to Eva Castiglioni and Ana Rodriguez.
  • Young Harris took the No. 2 doubles match 8-2, and too the third flight be default.
  • The Mountain Lions took one win by default in singles play and won the top three flights, including the top two 6-0, 6-0 for the 7-0 dual victory.
