Three event wins for King Swimmers

BRISTOL, Va. - The King College men's and women's swim teams dove back into action with three event wins in Saturday's home dual meet with Mars Hill (N.C.) College.

Alek Nochowicz (Mt. Juliet, Tenn.) swam to the front in the 100-yard backstroke event with a time of one minute and 0.58 seconds. He won the race by four seconds.

Wayne Oliver (Bristol, Tenn.) was a winner in the 50 free thanks to his 22.93 second performance.

Kelsey Wiese (Gallatin, Tenn.) finished the 50 free in 26.66 seconds to finish first.

In the team standings Mars Hill won the women's event 175-57 while the Mars Hill men left with a 162-65 decision.

King will welcome Milligan (Tenn.) College for a 7 p.m. meet Wednesday.
