BRISTOL, Tenn. - The soccer doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday afternoon between King College and North Greenville University have had its game times changed. The women's match will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the men to follow at approximately 4:00 p.m.
The Lady Tornado (4-6-0, 3-3) will begin play at 2:00 p.m. against the Crusader's women soccer team (4-6-1, 3-4-1). NGU comes off a 5-0 loss to Limestone College on Oct. 8. The Lady Tornado have lost their last two matches against non-conference opponents but have won their last three matches against Conference Carolinas teams by a combined score of 10-2, including two shut outs.
The Tornado (2-7-1, 2-4) will follow with a tentative start time set for 4:00 p.m. King has lost its last five matches with a tough one-goal loss to NAIA defending National Champion University of Rio Grande on Satuday. North Greenville (6-5-0, 5-3) had a four-game win streak snapped in their last action against Limestone on Saturday.
The doubleheader was originally scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. but has been altered due to concerns with available daylight.
