Women's Soccer Announces Addition of Home Contest

BRISTOL, Tenn. -- King College women's soccer has announced the addition of one home game to their 2011 schedule. On Oct. 5, the Tornado will host the Cumberland University (Tenn.) Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. from Parks Field.

The game now creates a men's/women's soccer doubleheader beginning with the newly scheduled contest at 2:00 p.m. Men's soccer will follow after the conclussion of the women's match as they play Lenoir-Rhyne, tentatively scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

Cumberland University, located in Lebanon, Tenn., is a member of the NAIA. They currently are 4-0-0 with three of their wins coming on the road. To date, they have outscored the competition by a combined score of 12-3 in four contests. The Bulldogs will play four games, two in their conference, before their match with King.
