NCAA Division II Coaches Poll

BRISTOL, Tenn. – In the latest installment of the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association Rankings, King University is receiving votes and Dustin Kirk is ranked fourth at 133 pounds.

The Tornado are coming off a 21st-place finish at the Midwest Classic. The Tornado received 12 votes in the poll and are one of four Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) members to receive votes. Newberry College is ranked 14th, Limestone College received 12 votes and Coker College received three votes.

Individually, Kirk is ranked fourth at 133 pounds following his third place finish at the Midwest Classic. Kirk went 5-1 at the event, taking a pair of wins over fifth ranked Josh Walker of Upper Iowa University and a victory over 12th-ranked Lawrance Dudgeon of Ashland University. On the season, Kirk is 9-2 with two wins by major decision and one by pin.

King returns to action again on January 9 when the return to ECAC competition with a dual at Emmanuel College. The dual is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
