King hosts men's and women's wrestling camps

BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University Head Wrestling Coach Jason Moorman and his staff will be hosting a pair of camps this summer on campus. The Tornado Women's Wrestling Camp is scheduled for June 25-29 and the Tornado Men's Wrestling Camp is slated for July 16-20.

Tornado Women's Wrestling Camp
Join the four-time WCWA and NWCA national champions at the fourth annual Tornado Women's Wrestling Camp. This camp will improve your takedowns and attacks on your feet. We will focus on high percentage leg attacks, set ups, and finishes. Campers will also learn high level takedown defense and front headlocks. We will also teach throws, as well as freestyle techniques. The camp is open to ages 12-18.

Tornado Men's Wrestling Camp
Join us for the 11th Annual King University Men's Wrestling Camp. All campers will receive plenty of one on one attention with an emphasis on proper drilling and high percentage techniques. Each day will be concluded with a live wrestling session. All campers will be placed on a team with college wrestlers assigned as coaches. Each team will meet daily with their coaches and compete in dual meet format on the last day. The camp is open to ages 12-19.
