King (79 points) moves up from last month's 15th place ranking, hopping four schools previously ranked ahead of them. They share the No. 11 ranking with Adams State (Colo.) who dropped from ninth in last December's poll. The Tornado finished just one point short of a top-10 placement. Limestone College advanced to No. 10 (previously NR) after a seventh place finish at last week's NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals and narrowly edging out King, 16-15.

St. Cloud is the newly named No. 1 team in the nation after defeating previous No. 1 Newberry (S.C.), 23-12, in the finals of the National Duals. The poll welcomed three new schools to the top-20 including Limestone, San Francisco State and Colorado State-Pueblo.

Senior Frank Morgan (Maynardville, Tenn.) moved up one spot in the 197-pound national rankings to fifth overall after a 2-1 weekend at the National Duals, his only loss coming in overtime to No. 1 Dan Scanlan of Limestone. Tywan Claxton (Cleveland, Ohio) made his way into the national rankings in the 141-pound division, also finishing 2-1 at the National Duals. His only loss came to No. 6 B.J. Young of Newberry College in a tight 9-8 decision.

The Tornado will jump back into action at the Wendy's Mid-Atlantic Duals this weekend, hosted by No. 18 Ashland University (Ohio). The tournament will be held this Sunday, Jan. 15, with the bouts beginning at 10:00 a.m. King will open against Seton Hill University (Pa.) and will battle either Ashland or Belmont Abbey in round two.
