    Tornado in 4th after Wingate Intercollegiate first round MONROE, N.C. – The King University women's golf team played round one at the Wingate Intercollegiate on Monday, shooting a 324. The Tornado are in a three way tie for fourth place and were led by Daphne Chang who is tied for fifth individually.

    King finishes 3rd at Hilton Head Lakes Invitational HARDEESVILLE, S.C. – The King University women's golf team followed their lowest round in program history with a round of 303 in the final round of the Hilton Head Lakes Invitational. The Tornado finished third with a tournament score of 600 and were led by Nicola Robertson and Samantha Taylor.

    Tornado card program low 297 in Hilton Head Lakes opening round HARDEESVILLE, S.C. – The King University women’s golf team posted their best round in program history to open the Hilton Head Lakes Invitational on Monday. The Tornado shot 297, their first round under 300 in program history and are in third place going into the second round.

King shot 316 in the second round to finish with a total of 631 and were led by a third place from Daphne Chang.

AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The King University women’s golf team moved up the leaderboard on Tuesday, finishing 10th in the final tournament of the fall, the Flagler College Fall Slam. The Tornado shot 317 in the final round for a total of 641 and were led by Daphne Chang.

AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The King University women’s golf team started their final tournament of the fall, the Flagler Fall Slam with a score of 324. King finished second with a tournament total of 611 after shooting 306 in the second round and were led by Fiona Hebbel who finished third.

The Tornado shot 634, including a second round of 312 to take second, and were led by Fiona Hebbel who took second.

    Swallow one of two ConfCarolinas nominees for NCAA Woman of the Year BRISTOL, Tenn. – Elizabeth Swallow has concluded her women's golf career at King University, but she is still collected awards. The NCAA announced their conference nominees for Woman of the Year, and Swallow is one of 142 female student-athletes that was nominated.

    Tornado have four recognized as WGCA All-American Scholars BRISTOL, Tenn. – Earlier this week the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced their All-American Scholars and four King University women’s golfers were honors. In all, 828 women’s golfers were recognized with Autumn Bergendahl, Daphne Chang, Elizabeth Swallow and Nicola Robertson earning the distinction for King.

    Swallow nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year BRISTOL, Tenn. – Elizabeth Swallow has concluded her women’s golf career at King University, but she is still collected awards. The NCAA announced their nominees for Woman of the Year, and Swallow is one of a record 517 submissions for this year’s award.

    Poswiat, Swallow selected Conference Carolinas Scholar Athletes BRISTOL, Tenn. – Conference Carolinas announced their spring Scholar Athletes of the year for the spring sports on Wednesday and two Tornado were selected. Moritz Poswiat was the league’s selection for men’s tennis and Elizabeth Swallow earns her second straight Conference Carolinas Scholar Athlete of the Year honors in women’s golf.

    Taylor, Swallow lead King at Conference Carolinas Championship BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – In the final round of the Conference Carolinas Championship, the King University women’s golf put together their best round of the season, shooting 300. The Tornado moved up the leaderboard, finishing forth with a tournament score of 948. King was led by top 10 performances from Samantha Taylor and Elizabeth Swallow.

    King in fifth going into final round at conference championship BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – The King University women’s golf team started play at the Conference Carolinas Championship on Sunday, and the Tornado are in fifth place following Monday’s second round with one round remaining. King shot 320 on day one and 328 on day for a tournament total of 648. Samantha Taylor leads the Tornado and is in seventh place with one round remaining.

    Four King golfers named academic all-conference BRISTOL, Tenn. - As the 2016 season is nearing its end the Conference Carolinas have announce their Academic All-Conference Team for Men’s and Women’s Golf. The conference and its member institutions stress the importance of "Academics and Athletics Working Together" and the student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference teams are those who best represent this value. Two member from each the King University women’s and men’s golf teams have been recognized among the lists of 18 athletes.

    Swalllow selected finalists for Conference Carolinas Murphy Osborne Award At the end of each school year each Conference Carolinas school nominates one student-athlete for the Murphy Osborne award, which is the highest honor given by the Conference Carolinas. This year Elizabeth Swallow of the King University women’s golf team is one of the finalists for this prestigious honor.

    King takes fourth, Swallow second at Agnes McAmis BRISTOL, Tenn. – In their final preparation for the Conference Carolinas Championship, the King University women’s golf team put together another solid round in the second round of the Agnes McAmis Invitational. The Tornado didn’t move up the leaderboard, but the improved on yesterday’s score, shooting 318 to finish fourth at 638. King was only four shots off the champion, and were led by Elizabeth Swallow who finished second.

    King sets program best, puts 3 in top 5 at Pfeiffer Invite HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Following a record setting performance on Monday, the King University women’s golf team turned in another solid performance on Tuesday at the Pfeiffer Invitational. The Tornado finished third with a total of 608, following their second round total of 308. King had a trio finish in a tie for fifth, led by Nicola Robertson, who posted five straight birdies in the middle of Tuesday’s round.

    Robertson wins Smoky Mountain Intercollegiate, King takes 3rd SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – Nicola Robertson started the season on a high note for the King University women’s golf team. The sophomore led King to a third place finish at the Smoky Mountain Intercollegiate by taking individual medalist honors. She shot 146 for the tournament while the Tornado finished with a 302 in the second day for a total of 629.
