King moves up to finish 8th at conference championship

SNOW HILL, N.C. – The King University women's golf team finished the Conference Carolinas Championship with a round of 330, moving them up to an eighth place finish with a tournament total of 1005. Roxane Nataf and Samantha Taylor led the Tornado with 21st-place finishes.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Nataf finished the tournament with a round of 78 to finish with a stroke total of 247 while Taylor Carded an 80 in the final round giving her a total of 247.
  • Nicola Robertson finished next for the Tornado, with a tournament score of 249 following her round of 86.
  • Autumn Bergendahl improved every round, finishing with a round of 86 and a tournament total of 264.
  • Shelby Zeiter round out the team with a final round score of 86, giving her a tournament total of 265.

FOR THE FOES

  • Limestone College was the conference champion with a score of 918 while Erskine College finished second at 957.
  • Victoria Ross won the individual tournament with a score of 224 while her teammate Eleonor Skoog finished second at 226.
