SALISBURY, N.C. – The King University women's golf started the Patsy Randleman Invitational with a round of 320 and are in 12th place after the first round. Nicola Robertson led the way for the Tornado, shooting even-par.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Robertson carded a 72 in the opening round and is in third place, two strokes behind the leader.
  • Roxane Nataf came in next for the Tornado with a round of 79.
  • Next was Autumn Bergendahl who shot 83, which set a new career low round.
  • Shelby Zeiter and Morgan Powers rounded out the team with scores of 86 and 87, respectively.

FOR THE FOES

  • Lenoir-Rhyne University leads the tournament with a score of 295 while Limestone College is second at 300 and Queens University is third at 301.
  • Savannah Hallman of North Greenville University leads the tournament with a score of two-under 70.
