BRISTOL, Tenn. – Fiona Hebbel helped the King University women's golf team win their first tournament of the season, earning individual medalist honors at the Agnes McAmis Classic. Her performance then earned her Conference Carolinas Player of the Month honors on Monday.
Hebbel was named individual medalist for the first time in her career when she won the Agnes McAmis Memorial by seven strokes. She was the only player under par, shooting one-under 143 which was her career low tournament score. The freshman carded a 73 in the opening round before posting her lowest career round of two-under 70 in the final round, helping King win their first tournament of the season.
The Tornado are in action again on April 23-25 at the Conference Carolinas Championship hosted at Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, N.C.
