King Women's Golf finishes McAmis Memorial

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - King College's two golfers at the 14th annual Agnes McAmis Memorial Women's Golf Invitational closed out the event Tuesday.

Malorie McBride (Brentwood, Tenn.) was a shot off her Monday score with a 99 Tuesday. Chelsea Gammon (Blountville, Tenn.) carded a 106 in the final 18 holes.

Belmont Abbey (N.C.) College won the team championship with a two-day total of 600, 29 shots in front of Carson-Newman (Tenn.) College. Medalist honors went to Carson-Newman's Jessica Tarbet with a 36-hole score of 147, two better than Michele Low, from Belmont Abbey.

The golfers played the event at the Link Hills Country Club at 5,805 yards and a Par-72. Tuesday saw 38 golfers have to finish the first round as just 52 were able to play all 18 Monday due to severe storms.
