Deans and Mooney puts King onto NCAA DII Stat Report

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - King College's Ashley Deans and Derika Mooney both posted two Top-100 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball stat rankings, as announced by the national office.

Deans (Greeneville, Tenn.) had the No. 22 spot nationally in free throw percentage with at 88.1. She also used a 16.1 scoring average which was at No. 85. Mooney (Athens, Tenn.) was No. 73 in steals per game with 2.5. She passed 4.1 assists per contest which fell in at No. 89.

When it came to team rankings, King was No. 59 in free throw percentage with a 72.9 mark at the line. The Lady Tornado also moved up a spot to No. 79 in assists per game with an average of 14.6.

King, with a 5-14 record, has a home contest with Young Harris (Ga.) College Saturday at 4 p.m.
