INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - King College totaled seven Top-100 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Stat Rankings, the national office announced.
The highest ranking was posted by Ashley Deans (Greeneville, Tenn.) with her 86.7 free throw percentage which was No. 21 nationally. She was also No. 93 in field goal percentage at 46.4 and No. 97 in scoring with 15.8 points per game.
King was No. 63 in free-throw percentage as a team with a 72.5 success rate. The team added the No. 81 spot in assists per game with 14.2. The Lady Tornado moved up five places in the assists per game category.
Derika Mooney (Athens, Tenn.) had two Top-100 individual rankings with the No. 58 spot in steals per game with 2.6. Mooney added 4.0 assists per game which was good enough for No. 89 nationally. She went up six places in both categories.
The Lady Tornado, at 6-14 on the season, will welcome the University of the District of Columbia to Bristol for a 6 p.m. contest Thursday. King was upended at District of Columbia 66-62 on Jan. 8.
