BELMONT, N.C. – The King University softball team came away with another split, this time at Belmont Abbey College. King jumped out to take game one 8-0 behind their offense, but fell in the second game of the twinbill 8-4.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – Kay Brokering had a big week for the King University softball team, leading the Tornado to a 4-2 record, including a 3-1 mark in Conference Carolinas play. On Tuesday she was selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Week after hitting .412 and driving in eight runs.
TIGERVILLE, S.C. – Following a sweep to open Conference Carolinas play on Friday, the King University softball team came back to split with North Greenville University on Saturday. The Crusaders won game one 8-0, but King came back behind Leslie Odom to take the nightcap 5-0 for the split.
CENTRAL, S.C. – The King University softball team opened Conference Carolinas play with a pair of road wins at Southern Wesleyan University on Friday evening. The Tornado took game one 8-2 before scoring twice in the seventh inning of game two for the 3-2 victory.
CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The King University softball team came away with another split on Wednesday when they traveled to Lee University. King took game one 6-4 in 10 innings behind a strong pitching outing from Leslie Odom, but dropped game two 6-2 as the Flames capitalized on a defensive miscue.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University softball team split with Mars Hill University on Saturday afternoon. The Tornado earned a 9-7 come-from-behind victory, scoring six runs in the sixth inning, but the Lions scored in the late innings to take game two 5-3.

Instead of playing both Ohio Valley University and Mars Hill University, the Tornado will now play a doubleheader against Mars Hill. SALISBURY, N.C. – The King University softball team opened Wednesday’s doubleheader at Catawba College with an offensive explosion. The Tornado posted 14 hits in their 17-3 victory. However, the Tornado offense was stymied in the nightcap, falling 2-0 to the Indians.

YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The King University softball team finished the Young Harris College Tournament with a pair of tough games against the host. The Mountain Lions took game one 10-2 before coming back with an 11-2 victory.

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The King University softball team finished their weekend with a pair of wins, defeating West Virginia Tech 13-1 and Coker College 5-2. Jenna Burnett had a big day for the Tornado, accounting for five hits and driving in five.

HICKORY, N.C. – The King University softball team traveled to Lenoir-Rhyne University to face Shippensburg University and UVa-Wise. The Tornado comeback came up short against Shippensburg, falling 7-6 early in the day before UVa-Wise took a 5-4 win in eight innings later in the day.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University softball team has rescheduled their contests against Lincoln Memorial University that was rained out earlier this week. The Tornado will now make the trek to Harrogate, Tenn. to take on the Railsplitters in a doubleheader on March 21 at 1:00 p.m.

BRISTOL, Tenn. - The King University softball comes into the 2018 season with one of the deepest squads for head coach Jenn Testa in recent memory. The Tornado posted 32 wins, including 15 in Conference Carolinas play a season ago, and are looking to improve on those numbers in 2018. Testa returns five All-Conference Carolinas and two All-Region performers from a season ago as the Tornado aim for another conference title.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the first time in program history, the King University softball program has had a player earn All-Region honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). Both Hannah Riddle and Kaycee Casteel were selected second team All-Southeast Region by NFCA when the organization announced their awards on Wednesday.
BURLINGTON, N.C. – The second day of the Conference Carolinas Tournament started with a tight contest between second seed Limestone College and fourth seed King University. The Tornado came back to even the score in the fifth inning, but the Saints answered with three to take the contest 4-1.
