Riddle selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Week

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Following a breakout week, King University softball player Hannah Riddle was named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week. The junior led King to a 4-0 week, hitting .765 with nine runs batted in.

Riddle started the week by going 3-for-4 in game one against West Virginia Tech before nearly hitting for the cycle in game two when she went 5-for-5. In the contest she ripped three doubles, a single and a home run while driving in seven in the Tornado victory.

The Greeneville, Tenn., native continued her stellar week by going 2-for-3 with a double and triple and two runs scored in game one against Mars Hill University. In the nightcap against Mars Hill, Riddle went 3-for-5 to help lead King to the sweep.

The Tornado are in action again on Wednesday and Thursday on campus. King takes on Concord University at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Mars Hill at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
