GREENVILLE, S.C. - King College posted nine team Top-20 stat rankings along with six Top-25 individual rankings in the first NCCAA Softball Stat report released by the national office.
The highest ranking was posted by Stephanie Mueller (Mt. Washington, Ky.) at No. 3 in hit by pitch per game with 0.31. She was joined on the list by Tiffany Harris (Tazewell, Va.) at No. 9 with 0.2.
Samantha Watts (Nashville, Tenn.) threw to a pair of Top-25 rankings led by her five wins which was tied for the No. 5 spot among NCCAA pitchers. Her 3.39 earned run average made the list at No. 25.
Cassie Ringstaff (Richlands, Va.) and her 0.1 triples per game ranked No. 10 while Aubree Hutt (Bristol, Va.) stole the No. 16 spot in steals per game with 0.47.
In the team rankings, King's highest was in triples per game with 0.15 at No. 12. Close at No. 14 was the Lady Tornado's 0.4 home runs per game. The team's 0.65 steals per game came in at No. 15.
King posted three rankings at No. 16 in their respective categories, earned run average (4.41), fielding percentage (.937) and hits per game (7.25).
Scoring 3.6 runs per game along with 3.0 RBIs per contest both shared the No. 17 ranking in the categories. Finally a .261 batting average was at No. 20.
King, at 7-13 on the season, travels to Lees-McRae (N.C.) College for a 3 p.m. doubleheader Thursday.
