King Softball adds to NCAA Rankings list
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - King College added two Top-100 NCAA Division II Softball national stat ranking in the newest report released by the organization to give the Lady Tornado five in all.
The highest new ranking was Stephanie Mueller (Mt. Washington, Ky.) at No. 33 in hit by pitch per game with 0.24. Also on the list this week was Samantha Watts (Nashville, Tenn.) with a save, tied for No. 57. Watts was No. 49 in walks allowed per seven innings with 1.39.
Cassie Ringstaff (Richlands, Va.) and her two triples remained in the Top-100 tied for No. 76.
Once again the lone team ranking was double plays per game with 0.29 up 10 spots to No. 90.
King will take a 9-19 record to Reinhardt (Ga.) University for a 5 p.m. doubleheader Thursday.
