Sprayberry selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Week

BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the first time this year, King University's Jeff Sprayberry was selected Conference Carolinas Player of the Week. He led the Tornado to a win at North Greenville, hitting .241 in the match.

Sprayberry led the way for the Tornado with 13 kills in the victory over the Crusaders. In the match he averaged 4.33 kills per set and hit .241. The win was King's fifth straight victory, moving the Tornado to 12-1 in Conference Carolinas play.

The Tornado return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Limestone College. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. King returns to the friendly confines of the Student Center Complex on Friday and Saturday when they host Barton College and the University of Mount Olive.
