BRISTOL, Tenn. – Jeff Sprayberry helped the King University men's volleyball team clinch a share of their first Conference Carolinas title last week, and earned Conference Carolinas Player of the Week honors for his performance.
Sprayberry hit .476 in King's 3-0 win over North Greenville University, giving King a 16-2 record in Conference Carolinas play and clinching a share of the league title. The junior led King with 13 kills in the match and added two digs and one block.
King will be in action again on Tuesday night when they host their first-even Conference Carolinas Tournament match. The Tornado are the second seed and will host seventh seeded North Greenville University. First serve is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center Complex.
