Moushikhian tabbed Conference Carolinas Player of the Week

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's volleyball program is off to their best start in program history behind a stellar offensive attack. One of those offensive players, Eddie Moushikhian was selected Conference Carolinas Player of the week after helping lead King to a pair of league wins last week.

The Alpharetta, Ga., native started the week with 10 kills and hit .625 in a 3-0 win over Pfeiffer University. The attack percentage ranks ninth in program history as he didn't make an error on 16 attempts.

On Saturday at Belmont Abbey College, Moushikhian paced the King offense with 15 kills on 30 attempts with three errors an attack percentage of .400. For the week he hit .478 and averaged 4.17 kills per set and added eight digs for an average of 1.33 per set.

This marks the first time Moushikhian has been named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week in his career.

The Tornado are in action again this weekend when they travel to take on Emmanuel College on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Erskine College on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
