Booher inks six for 2014
BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University men’s volleyball coach Ryan Booher announced his signees for the 2013 class. The six newcomers will look to make an impact for the Tornado in the 2014 season.

BRISTOL, Tenn. - Two members of the King University men's volleyball team were named to the Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference team. Jeremy Funk and Michael Koebel were both named to the academic all-conference team.

Bobcats sweep Tornado, end season
BANNER ELK, N.C. – Coming into Tuesday’s regular season finale at Lees-McRae, the King University men's volleyball team knew they need to win to qualify for the Conference Carolinas tournament. However, the Bobcats came out on fire and defeated the Tornado 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-23).

King escapes Coker with five set victory
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – With both teams vying for the final spot in the Conference Carolinas tournament, the King University men’s volleyball team knew they would be in for a fight when the traveled to Coker College on Friday. The Tornado quickly took the first two sets, only to see the Cobras for a decisive fifth set. King grabbed the early lead in the fifth frame and didn’t look back en route to the 15-10 set win, and 3-2 victory.

King drops heartbreaker at Barton
WILSON, N.C. – Playing for the final spot in the Conference Carolinas tournament, the King University men’s volleyball team found themselves in a fight at Barton College on Saturday evening. The Tornado fell behind and forced a fifth set, but could not complete the comeback as Barton held off a late Tornado surge to take the contest 3-2 (21-25, 25-19, 27-25, 15-25, 17-15).

King falls to conference-leading Mount Olive
MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The King University men’s volleyball traveled to take on conference leading Mount Olive College on Friday night, and the Trojans defended their home court. Mount Olive took the Conference Carolinas match 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-13) behind an attacking percentage of .361.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – In their final home game of the season, the King University men’s volleyball team took on a Ball State University team that was coming off of a win against 10th ranked Penn State. The Cardinals scored early and often in their 3-0 (25-10, 25-18, 25-18) victory.
