ST. CHARLES, Mo. – King Men's Volleyball fell to 6-11 overall after a three set loss to Lindenwood University (17-25, 22-25, 14-25). Michael Koebel and Eric Glenn shared the team lead with six kills against the Lions.
King fell in straight sets against a strong defensive Lindenwood team, succumbing to 12 total team blocks by the Lions and an opponent hit percentage of .266. King struggled at the net, hitting at a .049 clip as a team.
Michael Koebel (Richmond, Va.) and Eric Glenn (Portsmouth, Va.) each finished with six kills to lead the team offensively. Brandon Rorer (Richmond, Va.) finished with 10 digs while Ned Parker (Richmond, Va.) had a team-high 21 assists with a pair of blocks (one solo).
The Tornado will finish their stay at the Lindenwood Classic by playing Missouri Baptist at 10:00 a.m. and Cal Baptist at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3.
