Forget what your thermometer reads and help encourage spring to arrive and permanently stay at Beach Night! The first 75 fans to come watch the King men's volleyball team take on Conference Carolinas rival Lees-McRae Bobcats (Feb. 23) and are wearing a King t-shirt plus shorts will receive a free Tornado beach ball.
Last year King split a pair of games with the Bobcats, winning their final regular season home game on April 5, 3-2. The rivalry has since blossomed among all sports, as King participates in its first year as a Conference Carolinas member school.
The Tornado and Bobcats will begin their match on Thursday, Feb. 23, at 7:00 p.m. from the Student Center Complex. It will be the first of two times they meet this season in league play. King is currently 6-8 overall, 1-2 in conference matches after picking up their first league win over Barton (3-0) this past weekend.
