King brings in Nevada standout for Men's Volleyball

BRISTOL, Tenn. – King College head men's volleyball coach Ryan Booher announced that Jordan Pils will join the Tornado program as a part of the 2011 signing class.

Pils, a 6-foot-2 outside hitter, comes to King from Henderson, Nev., where he played at Basic High.

He was a two-time All-Conference selection, a first and second team member, and team MVP for two years. Pils made the grades to be on the Nevada All-State Academic Team two straight years.

Pils played for the Vegas Valley and Southern Utah club teams.

"I am looking forward to Jordan joining our team and excited to see what he can offer to King on and off the court," Booher said.

King posted an 11-9 record this season which included a trip to the 2011 Conference Carolinas Championship match.
