King knocked off by Carthage

KENOSHA, Wis. - King College was overtaken 3-0 at Carthage (Wis.) College in men's volleyball action Wednesday.

King's record went to 8-8 while Carthage owns a 20-10 mark.

The home squad used set scores of 25-20, 25-12 and 25-18 in the match.

James Friddle (Cartersville, Ga.) led the Tornado attack with 10 kills. Joel Salva (Lake Mary, Fla.) was credited with 15 assists and five digs.

King closes out the home portion of Conference Carolinas play on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. match against Lees-McRae (N.C.) College. The Tornado's conference record stands at 2-3. When the two played in Banner Elk Lees-McRae came out with a 3-0 decision.
