King takes 6th at Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The King University men's track & field team closed the indoor season on Sunday at the Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships where they finished sixth. Jaylen Foster led the way, taking third in the high jump.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Jaylen Foster finished third in the high jump, clearing 1.84 meters.
  • James Russell Ballowe placed eighth in the 5,000 meters event with a time of 15:39.14.
  • Adriel McPhee qualified for the finals in the 60m hurdles with a times of 8.73 seconds. McPhee posted a time of 8.38 seconds in the finals to finish fourth.
  • Luke Downes posted a career-best for the 400 meter dash with a time of 50.14 seconds.
  • Braidon Miller posted a career-best in the shot put with a distance of 13.39 meters.
